Three important Values

There are three values that I am really aligned with. They are integrity, humility and gratitiude. I recently read a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer, The Power of Intention and he mentioned the same values. Here is what these values represent for me-
1. Integrity - say what you say you are going to do - follow through on your promises. Be in integrity with yourself and also with others.
2. Humility - This is the place where our awareness is healthy. We notice what others contribute and we can acknolwedge their great work. We put our ego aside and create a space for those around us to be seen and recognised.
3. Gratitude - We are thankful for the people and communities we work and live within. We express this through our actions, giving unconditionally. We are also open to receiving from those around us as well.
When we practice these three values we see changes within ourselves and around us. We see greater leadership and changes in workplace cultures.
What are your three values you are most aligned with?

Most people would agree with what's in your post if it's put to them that way. What makes reality at work messier than that is that most people don't realize they're not living up to their values until a crisis-level event hits them between the eyes - and even then only maybe. That's why employees who model those things credibly, without conveying self-importance or moral superiority, are crucial to healthy workplace cultures. In fact, they're gold. Inetersting post. Wonderful topic about values - what comes to me immediately are the following: Acceptance: Letting go of judgment for self and others. If we are always changing, then let that change be in opening and not in closing down. Integrity: Being trustworthy. The people in my world depend on me to do what I say or to hear me acknowledge when I fall short of that. Curiosity: If we are always changing, and I believe we are either growing or becoming smaller, then a commitment to curiosity as a way of growing in a direction that we are creating and not in a direction that is just "happening to us." I also see values as a work in progress. We are never "done," which is wonderful.Curiosity

These are great values and I agree values are a work in progress. I love your value around curiosity. How do you know when you are creating your life as opposed to just making it happen?
